Pursuant to Article 247, Paragraph 1, of the Public Procurement Law (“Official Gazette of the RS“, No. 91/2019, hereinafter: the PPL) its implementation commenced on 1 July 2020. On the same date, pursuant to Article 245 of the PPL, the formerly applicable Public Procurement Law  (“Official Gazette of the RS “, No. 124/12,14/15 and 68/15) ceased to be in force.

Consequently, and pursuant to Article 246, Paragraph 2 of the PPL, the Republic Commission has handed the cases related to misdemeanors governed by the Public Procurement Law  (“Official Gazette of the RS “, No. 124/12,14/15 and 68/15) over to misdemeanor courts having real and territorial jurisdiction.
