Workshop dedicated to analysis of 11 most common mistakes being made by contracting authorities during implementation of public procurement procedures, that were noticed by Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures in the process of decision-making on submitted requests for protection of rights, was held in Belgrade on 30 June 2017. The analysis of 11 most common mistakes in public procurement procedures during implementation of public procurement procedures was prepared by Republic Commission, with intention to decrease both the mistakes of contracting authorities and the number of submitted requests for protection of rights thus enabling more efficient fulfilment of the needs of end-users (citizens) in public procurement procedures.
This interactive workshop is an activity within technical assistance of the programme SIGMA/OECD financed by EU, with the aim to strengthen capacities of contracting authorities, which is in the context of further harmonisation with EU legislation.
Around 80 participants of contracting authorities attended the workshop (PE „EPI/EPS”, PE „ROADS OF SERBIA”, Мinistry of Interior, Мinistry of Justice , PE „ЕМS”, PE „CITY HOUSING SERVICES”, Belgrade, National Bank of Serbia, National Health Insurance Fund, representatives of healthcare centers and many others), who had many questions both for the representatives of Republic Commission and the programme SIGMA/OECD, аnd related to correct methods for implementation of public procurement procedures.
On behalf of the programme SIGMA/OECD, co-organiser of the event, it was opened by Erika Bozzay, in charge of monitoring of public procurement at SIGMA/OECD. Hana Hukic, President of Republic Commission was talking on possibilities for further improvement of protection of rights in public procurement procedures. Branimir Blagojevic, Member of Republic Commission and Zoran Blazevic, external SIGMA/OECD expert who is being with dealing with public procurement in Republic of Croatia and the region for many years, were talking on most frequent mistakes of contracing authorities.
